i know this post is kinda lateand I’m sorry about that, but this is the 1st chance that i finally had time…been really, i am mean REALLY, busy lately…you would think it wasn’t sem break..
let me tell you something about our so called “Sem Break” :
1. it is way too short…
2. we have too much assignments and it’s way too short…
well, you get the picture…anyways, the 26th of October was the day before sem break and we had a couple of activities…
we, the dbmc, were to play as the Rizal Memorial for something, sorry don’t know what the event was called ,and what it’s for(haha), all i know is that there were other Chinese schools and i think there was a dance that the teachers did..something like that..anyways, i arrived at school at about, maybe, 5:20 in the morning…my friends and i had this kind of agreement to come to school early and i ended up being the 1st in school followed by lorraine and angel…anyways, after that more and more people showed up, problem was, we couldn’t get our instruments because the people who had the keys were not yet there..so, we waited and waited and waited…eventually, chr lao chr arrived and sed that we had to be there at 6:30 and we were still no where near inside the room…when our president finally arrived, jo (quarter master) was already there, well we didn’t really know until we got up, so we were still waiting downstairs…..we got all our instruments, waited for a few more people and we were eventually off…
on the way, me and herizza had a little bit of fun dancing around and stuff…you know, just trying to make the buz a little more lively…
when we got there, we were late, haha, all the waking up and being early and there we were LATE,..anyways, we went to our positions and everything and started playing, our president gave us a couple of songs we should play since sir was not there yet….the 1st one came smoothly but when it came to the second…i was like, oh my, what is happening?????we weren’t playing together, loosing the beat and all the other things that could go wrong went wrong…dadi (for any follow-up mentions, he is the president, we just call him that) gave us some encouragements and all, but in the end, i think the people there noticed we were losing it and just told us to play the National Anthem…after that, well, we just hung out a bit and back to the bus…
our teacher gave us some food and stuff, we like played around in the bus a bit and then went back to school..we got there at about 9 something i think…we had a meeting, dadi appologized if ever he said anything bad that might’ve hurt or something, because he did get a little mad..he said, it was like we didn’t practice at all….so credit to him for that…and then the usual announcement, be back at school at about 2 for the procession and all that…so some people went home, others went someplace, i don’t know while some of us, 1st year in particular hung out a bit…
we like played around, slept a little (well, mostly that was just lying down and trying to sleep but we couln’t really sleep), joked around, um, what else, uh, memory gap..what’s wrong with me..haha..anyways, the main point is we had a lot of fun, we forgot about the chaos that transpired in the morning, no hard feelings and just enjoyed ourselves, looking forward to what will hapen next..so a cliche but anyways..so after all those fun stuff, was the procession of course..
every year, high school students participate in the procession, it was just our second time because we all joined in back in the 5th grade, but it was our 1st time as hs students..haha 
)…so, the procession started and we played…and like a miracle, bragging aside, it was not bad…haha…we played well actually, i don’t know, is it because we were complete(in the morning, we were lacking some people) or was it because we were in St. Jude, we felt better playing for the school or something like that but the main point is it was good, better than what happened in the morning…
After that, well, we were tired and all and everything, but it was worth it, 1st of all you’re doing a sacrifice and shouldn’t you feel good when you’re doing that????…anyways, we ate a bit after that and were off home…we had so much fun on that day, we even still talked about it the next day but what happened then will be for a different post..until then guys..
